Dealing with fibromyalgia can be challenging. It can cause different symptoms every day, from mild to intense pain. I’m always looking for products that can help me soothe sore muscles. I was pleased when I had the opportunity to review products from Aromafloria. I have been given this product as part of a product review through Chronic Illness Bloggers network. Although the product was a gift, all opinions in this review remain my own and I was in no way influenced by the company.
I couldn’t wait to open my box! I love taking baths to relax and soothe sore muscles. Taking a bath is the highlight of a challenging day. There were six products included in the box. The products were sugar salt glow body scrub, mineral salts, bath and body massage oil, foaming bubble bath, Sleep Ease inhalation beads and Sinus Help inhalation beads. Now I was all ready for my nightly bath!
The Muscle Soak body scrub was the first product I tried. It had a very pleasant scent which was good because sometimes I have reactions to strong smells. It had eucalyptus, lemongrass, and peppermint. I used it on my arms, legs, and feet. I loved how it made my skin super soft. I don’t think it had a huge effect on my muscle soreness, but the scent was very relaxing which did have a small positive effect on my muscle pain. this was my favorite product.
I tried the massage oil by rubbing it on my sore shoulders. (I have yet to get my husband to give me a massage!) It did have a pleasant result. It made my skin soft and did take away some of the pain. I really enjoyed the smell. Next I’m going to try massaging my feet!
I love using bath salts in my baths, so I couldn’t wait to try Ocean Mineral Bath Salts. It did sooth sore muscles a bit and had the same pleasant scent as the rest of the products. I would definitely continue to use this product.
The bubble bath as you can see in the picture is half gone already. I haven’t taken a bath with bubbles in a while, because I usually feel very soapy when I get out of the tub. This didn’t make me feel super soapy when I got out. It just made my skin nice and soft. It also felt good on my muscles when soaking in the tub. The smell filled up the bathroom which also helped clear my sinuses from the scent of eucalyptus.
The last products I tried were the inhalation beads. I had never heard of these, so I was intrigued to use them. They each came with a cloth drawstring bag. You put the beads in the bag and then inhale them. They are very tiny so make sure they don’t spill like they did for me. They won’t ruin your floor, they’re just hard to pick up because they’re so small. The first one I tried was the Sleep Ease with lavender. I love lavender and use it a lot to help me sleep. unfortunately the scent was too strong for me and gave me a slight headache. If you’re not sensitive to smells though, it may be helpful.
I enjoyed the Sinus Help inhalation beads more because the scent wasn’t as strong and it did clear my sinuses a bit. Every one is different of course. What is strong for me may not be strong for you.
All in all I enjoyed using these products and would recommend them to a friend. If you’re looking for a way to make your skin softer, soothe sore muscles, and take in a pleasant scent then try Aromafloria products and pamper yourself!
