I came across a new book titled Mom, Inc. by Meg Mateo Ilasco and Cat Seto. They both have their own businesses. I am always looking for new books on the subject of working from home. Sometimes it’s hard to know where to get started when trying to make money from home.
I like how the book is easy to read and is written in short segments. There is a section on blogging, selling crafts, coming up with a product, offering a service and starting an online store. It gives information on setting up your business from financing to building a home office.
There is also a whole chapter on advertising and letting people know about your business. Throughout the whole book there are stories of successful women and their businesses. All of their websites are listed at the back of the book. When starting any business it’s always important to find support and strike a balance. The last chapter deals with balancing it all.
I found the online resources and tools at the back of the book very helpful also. I highly recommend this book to any woman starting a business. The book can be found at Amazon. You can purchase it at the link to the right.
