A few weeks ago I stumbled upon a new blog that I absolutely love! I was searching for a recipe for roasted brussel sprouts and Sweet pea’s kitchen came up. The pictures are what got my attention. Christina, the author is also an elementary school teacher. I don’t know how she has time to do both, but kuddos to her! They are big and colorful and it makes you want to reach right through your computer screen and have a taste. Not all of the recipes are healthy, but there is a nice variety. Some of them I’d like to try for Christmas gifts.
The peanut butter “Buckeye” pretzel bites is what got my attention. I’ve had buckeyes before, but never buckeye pretzels. I am definitely trying these during Thanksgiving and Christmas. Another one I’d like to try is brown sugar pecan pear muffins. She also has recipes for steel cut oats and lentil chili. Check out her website at http://sweetpeaskitchen.com.
