I love Ikea! When I lived in Ohio, the closest one was 2 1/2 hours away. Now it’s about 45 minutes. I still don’t go as often as I thought I would. I probably go about once or twice a year. The picture above is an artificial plant. I normally don’t buy artificial ones, but thought it looked fairly realistic. I picked the pot from several choices. The plant was $5.99 and the pot was 0.79. I thought it added some nice color to my kitchen window.
My second purchase were these pretty floral canisters. I use them in my bathroom to store Q-tips, paper cups, and cotton balls. They were only $5.99.
I also bought a spice rack. I decided to put it in my teenagers bathroom to corral all their stuff and keep it off the counter. It was only $3.99. These can be so versatile. Just check out pinterest for even more ideas!
I got some really nice picture frames for only $1.99. They come in black and white. I ‘m going to put some pictures in them and give them as Christmas presents.
I fell in love with this pink, floral towel and apron. I am a girl at heart. I love flowers, and I love pink! The apron was $7.99 and the towel set (which comes with two towels) was $4.99.
Well there you have it. My seven items from Ikea. Do you like Ikea? If so, what are your favorite products?
I like the products from Ikea, but HATE navigating the store. So much so that I only go there if I can’t find what I need elsewhere. Or my friend begs me to take her because she’s never been 🙂
{{ stopping by from SITS }}
Huh..I’m really surprised! I don’t have a Ikea nearby and have only seen the commercials on tv..which didn’t really leave me wanting to visit. You post has me wondering where the nearest Ikea is to me though!
Happy SITS Day!

I love Ikea, too, but there isn’t one very close to me. So about once a year (does this sound familier) I talk my husband into driving about an hour away and we go check it out. I always want to buy all kins of things and have to restrain myself….Over from Sits, btw!
You’re right! If you don’t have an Ikea nearby you feel deprived. And then when one is so close you could go as often as you please, you don’t! What the heck??!! My favorite time to go is first thing in the morning before the rush of people come. Just so fun to mosey around looking at this and that. Great finds and particularly love the towel and apron.. spoken from one girly girl to another!
I know exactly what you mean. I use to live in another state and we would go every year on our way home from New Jersey. Now that there is one a half hour away I hardly go!
I like all of your purchases. We used to live 4 hours away, but now about 20. We do go fairly often, because even The Hubs likes the store. I furnished my sewing/craft room with some of their furniture and love it. Hubby has several pieces in his Man-Cave, too. I also adore their greenery, candles and sweet little spice jars. Yep, you could say we have “IKEA” love around here!
