I love getting free things don’t you? I have found 15 different free mobile apps that I have found to be helpful. Here they are:
1. SleepBot Tracker– This one really intrigued me. I have trouble getting my deep sleep due to fibromyalgia. Now I can see just what kind of sleep I actually get. It keeps logs and graphs sleep records, has an alarm clock, and calculates sleep debt and other sleep data. It is available for android.
2. App-O-Day– This offers exclusive giveaways and one highly rated app per day that normally costs money. Available for iPhone.
3. ATM Hunter– This app lists nearby cash machines and lets you filter those that are free to you. Available for iPhone, Android, and Blackberry.
4. CardStar– Now you don’t have to carry all of your reward cards wherever you go. Just scan them into your phone, which also gives you access to coupons. Avaiable for iPhone and Android.
5. CheckPoints– Earn points for checking in at grocery stores, pharmacies, and other retailers with CheckPoints. Get points for scanning certain bar codes. Redeem them for gift certificates, meals, airline miles, hotel stays, and donations to charity. Available for iPhone and Android.
6. Coupon Sherpa-This free app delivers coupons for national retailers and restaurants to your phone. Just show the cashier your screen coupon and she’ll scan it. Available for iPhone and Android.
7. Field Agent– This app lets you get paid while you shop! If a company wants to know how a display looks they can hire you to do the job. They may also ask you to check a price or take a picture. You can earn between $3 to $12 per assignment. It is available for iPhone and Android.
8. RedLaser– Want to check a price at nearby stores and online? RedLaser can do just that. Simply scan a products bar code. You can even buy the product from the phone. It also has product reviews and nutritional information for food. Available for iPhone, android, and Windows phone.
9. Unit Price Compare– Do you want to figure out which of two different sized products is the better deal? This app will figure it out for you. They also calculate the savings percentage. Available only for Android.
10. Wildcard– Now you can keep track of all your gift Pocketcards on your phone. Just load them on your iPhone so you can check your balances or make purchases. Available only for iPhone.
11. Pocket– Pocket lets you save web pages and read them later. It’s nice to have them all in one place. I use this often, Available for iPhone and Android.
12. Pay Pal– With this app you can send cash from any of your linked accounts on the go. You can take a picture of a check you’ve received to auto deposit into your Paypal account. Available for iPhone, Android, and Blackberry.
13. Pageonce– This app allows you to view all of your accounts (bank, credit card, frequent flier miles, 401 k, IRA, etc.) all in one place.You can set it up to have it remind you od bill due dates too. Available for iPhone, Android, and Blackberry.
14. GoMeals HD– This allows you to search thousands of food and dishes from restaurants, grocery stores and items you have in your own kitchen.. It lets you see the nutritional facts and create a food diary. Available for Android and iPhone.
15. Quitter– This app will help you overcome any bad happen for good. Available for Android and iPhone.

I have the Cozi family calendar. It is a great way to keep track of everyone’s appointments. The basic service is free and very usable. You can upgrade by paying a monthly fee, but I haven’t found that necessary.
