I’m sure all of us have clothespins lying around the house. Why not put those clothespins to good use. I have found ten uses for wooden clothespins around the house. I found these really cute clothespins at Michael’s for a dollar a pack. I thought they were so cute! I was planning on decorating plain ones with washi tape or paint. I know I will want to decorate some with washi tape in the future.
These are my top ten uses for wooden clothespins:
1. Use them to close snack bags such as crackers or chips. They come in so handy! I have a whole drawer of them, so they’re never hard to find. There is no excuse not to have the chip bag closed!
2. Use decorative ones to close treat bags. Here’s a great example from Party Perfect. Aren’t they adorable!
3. Use them for lost socks in the laundry room. You can make a wooden sign and glue the clothespins onto the sign. You can then hang it on the laundry room wall.
4. Glue some on the inside of a kitchen cabinet to hang towels and rubber gloves. this is one of my favorite ideas!
5.Put a magnet on the back and use it as a fridge magnet. You can use it to hold your grocery list or coupons!
6. String some inside a frame and use to hang pictures. You can change them easily. Here’s one from It’s Overflowing. All you need is a frame and some string.

7. Use them for cord sorters. Label them and clip them onto the cords.
8.Use to keep your place in a cookbook.
9.Use to keep scraps of ribbon tidy from My Fruitful Home.
10. You can use them as colorful bookmarks. I like to use them in my cookbooks.
What are some uses you have found for clothespins?
