One of my favorite easy no bake desserts are s’mores. I’m sure we all know that when you make a classic s’more you start with Hersey’s milk chocolate, but have you ever thought of using a different kind of candy bar? What about a Snickers bar or a Reece’s peanut butter cup? What about trying chocolate chip cookies instead of graham crackers?
The last time I made s’mores I went the traditional route, and used graham crackers and Hersey’s chocolate. I did try sliced strawberries in between the crackers though. It was delicious! Next time I’m going to try sliced bananas and peanut butter.
Here are some suggestions:
Base:
Chocolate chip cookies
Chocolate graham crackers
Pound cake
Fillings:
Flavored marshmallows
Snicker’s bars
Reece’s peanut butter cups
Peanut butter
Strawberries
Bananas
York Mint Peppermint Patty
Raspberries
Chocolate hazelnut spread
Apples
There are many ways you can finish the s’mores:
You can microwave them. Just build them on a microwave safe plate, then cook for 15 to 30 seconds.
You can bake them on a foil lined baking pan at 300 degrees for about 5 minutes.
You can broil them 4 to 5 inches from heat for about 2 minutes.
You can use your outdoor grill to roast the marshmallows.
You can roast them over candles or a fondue burner. Just be careful if you have little ones!
Have you ever tried making s’mores with different ingredients?

Love the idea of using Reese’s peanut butter cups for S’mores. I’m partial to using the outdoor firepit to roast the marshmallows. Yum! Happy Saturday!
