I have always loved collecting seashells and other things from the beach. I have made several seashell crafts for my home over the years. I am always trying to come up with new ways to decorate with shells. I used some to make a shell wreath for my bathroom.
I found this glass container at a rummage sale. I knew it would be perfect as soon as I saw it. We recently got home from the beach and I wanted a way to display my shells and other findings. I used a Ziploc bag to put my shells and sand in while collecting them. I double bagged the one that contained the sand.
I poured the sand into the glass container and then played around with the shells until I liked what I saw. You could also put sand dollars or starfish in your display. You could even do beach glass. Whatever you find on the beach that you think will look pretty would work.
I then used a label sticker to write down where I found my shells. It’s a nice reminder of my vacation.
I love bringing home a part of my vacation. What about you?

We live 40 minutes to the beach & we collect rocks, feathers, driftwood & shells each time we go. I have a pretty container with them. Hope your vacation was as nice as your shells! Theresa @DearCreatives Hope to see you at this week’s party.
