Many times the things that mean the most to me are things that don’t cost a lot. I have a basket that I keep under my nightstand that is filled with things like journals and devotional books. My mom gave me this pretty turquoise and brown book. It was sold in a fair trade gift shop. It just happened to match my new devotional book by Lysa Terkeurst! The book is called Craving God- 60 Devotionals for Real Women. It goes along with her book Made to Crave which is about craving God instead of food. It talks about her long struggle with food and how God became bigger than her desire for eating unhealthy. Some of them also come from her book Unglued which deals with dealing with our emotions.
I decided to use my blank book to write meaningful scriptures and quotes that I’d like to refer to again. I thought I would decorate them with markers. I love making my journals personal!
