I have a daughter in college and a son who needs braces. I also have a beloved dog that that has had several high medical expenses lately. It can be tough trying to stretch and save your dollars. An article on ABC News says that money is the number one stressor for Americans. I think it is also the number one stressor for marriages. Add a chronic illness to the mix, that doesn’t allow me to work full time makes it that much harder.
I have found three money saving mom blogs that I just love! I am in know way great with finances, but these blogs give helpful tips and resources that even I can understand. The three money saving mom blogs that I picked also give me inspiration and hope.
1.The first one I have been following for many years is Money saving Mom by Crystal Paine. She offers a ton of freebies and giveaways. I love the free e-books she lists the most. She also has managing your money tips, weekly grocery deals and so much more. I have guest posted on her blog a couple of times and it was such an honor. I am reading her new book right now called Money Making Mom
2.The second one is Fun Cheap or Free. This is a fun site to explore. Jordan’s mission is to bring a new definition to frugal to her readers. She tells her story of how her and her husband got out of 19,000 credit card debt in 16 months. She also gives a unique way to budget which I like. Meal planning and reducing her grocery costs is one way she reduces her spending. She post on budgets and debt and even hosts a Frugality Boot Camp! Jordan also loves fashion. She gives many great tips on how to apply makeup and style your hair. So make sure to go and visit Jordan.
3.Last but not least is I am That Lady written by Lauren Greuten. I can’t believe I had never heard of this site. I think it is the most practical. I saw her on The Doctor Oz show a couple of weeks ago. She has six different e-books that she’s written on meal plans with food from Aldi’s. She also has a free meal planning workbook when you sign up for her newsletter. She also has posts on frugal living and personal finance. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that her and her husband Mark have a website together called Mark and Lauren Greutman-The New American Dream. It has many helpful podcasts, budgeting tools, and success stories they share. I have been learning so much!
I hope you will find my top three money saving mom blogs helpful. What money saving blogs do you find helpful?
