I did a post on the Erin Conrad planner last year. I was pleased with this planner and enjoyed using it. Later on in the year I kept seeing mention of The Happy Planner on YouTube and Facebook. I’ve decided The Happy Planner is my new favorite planner. I love the fact that it has a place to jot down what you are grateful for and highlight special things you were up to that month. People were also showing pictures they incorporated into their planner. I haven’t tried this yet, but am definitely going to! I’m excited about my new favorite planner, The Happy Planner.
I also liked the bright graphics and great quotes at the beginning of each month. It has tabs just like the Erin Conrad planner, but the thing that is different between these two planners is how they are bound. The Erin Conrad planner is spiral. What I liked about the spiral planner is that I could open it and fold the cover back so I could concentrate on one page. The Happy Planner is discbound and doesn’t really fold back easily. The thing I do like about the discbound planner is that you can remove and add pages easily. You can even make your own pages if you have the happy planner punch.
You can purchase all kinds of accessories made specifically for The Happy Planner. My Michael’s finally carried The Happy Planner line!I was waiting for months and wasn’t sure if they would ever get them. My dad gave me a Michael’s gift card for Christmas and I used it to buy all kinds of Happy planner items. Some of them were on sale. The one’s that weren’t I used a 40% coupon. I was giddy! I found these cute pocket folders with these cute designs! Each side has a pocket. I use them to store coupons for the week or receipts I need to record in the financial section of my planner.
The weekly planning pages have a section for morning, afternoon and evening which I find helpful. It also has a spot to the left that is labeled thoughts. I use this for things I need to remember throughout the week.
I like the fact that I have my financial pages as part of my planner. I’ve tried other systems where I had a separate planner for things, but I didn’t keep it up because it wasn’t all in one place. This makes my life so much easier!
I love the to-do pages! I have a list of blogging to-do items, health goals, list of pictures I need to take for Ebay and my blog. I also have a master to-do list with a estimated date of completion.
I love how The Happy Planner is so versatile and creative. It’s almost like a mini scrapbook of your daily life. That is why The happy Planner is my new favorite planner!
Have you ever heard of The Happy Planner? How do you organize your day?

I like the flexibility of the discbound and ringbound systems too. I got a Plum Planner which i turned into my blog planner and the Day Designer which is a daily. I love them both for different reasons but I might end up with a ring/discbound so I can get it just how I want it. I think I’m going to end up designing my own planner, I’m too picky! The happy planner is happy though and I hope you continue to love it!

I’ve heard of the Plummer planner but not the daily planner. I’m hoping to make my own planner someday too!

Congrats Tanya – you are our Friend of the Week at this week’s Friendship Friday Party at Create With Joy! – Week 247
I’m a Happy Planner gal too – I fell in love with their BIG planner this year – love the flexibility (and price) of this planner!
Also love your philosophy. I’ve lived with fibro and CFS for 18 years and also started my blog because I wanted to create something beautiful in the midst of the darkness.
Have an amazing week – be blessed – and thanks for being a long time blogging friend and supporter of my blog! 🙂

Thanks for picking me as friend of the week! I saw that they had big planners. I might have to get that one next time.
