I love the look of gallery walls. Pinterest has so many pretty ideas. This past year I collected objects, pictures, and frames to incorporate into two gallery walls. I was looking for the cheapest way to hang up a gallery wall. I love thrift shopping! Finally, after many months I finished! Now, whenever I go upstairs or downstairs I have my family surrounding me.
The items were purchased at Dollar Tree and Goodwill. When I saw the big picture frame that said BLESSED at Goodwill I knew I had to have it. And, the Kirklands price tag was still on it!
The other frames I got at Kohls using Kohls cash and a 40% coupon! My favorite picture is the wedding canvas of my daughter and son-in-law. I ordered it through Snapfish. (I am mentioning an affiliate link where I will get a small commission if you choose to purchase.)Mixbook is another great company to order from. They are having a sale now. Use code JUNESMRA to get 30%, 40%, or 50% off! They will be celebrating their one year anniversary in September!
Here is my second gallery wall above the couch. I chose black, white, and gray for my color scheme. The white mirror I got as a set of three at Walmart for 2.50! I used a Michaels 50 % coupon for the letter F. My daughter painted the black canvas. I will talk more about the Love canvas down below.
For these projects, I started out with tracing my pictures onto brown craft paper. Check out this video to see instructions. Command Velcro Strips were used. These are the most wonderful invention! They are easy to put up and don’t leave holes! some of the Command Velcro Strips can hold up to sixteen pounds.
Here is a close up of my 1 Corinthians 13 canvas. I loved how simple it was. Don’t you love how it turned out? I bought the canvas at Goodwill. You can find them at any craft store and places like Walmart and Target.
Dollar Tree has an assortment of vinyl decals with a variety of sayings. All I did was peel the backing from the decal and placed it on the blank canvas smoothing it out. I love how it turned out. You could even remove it when you want to display a different saying. So, don’t forget to keep the backing!
If you’re looking for the cheapest way to hang up a gallery wall I hope these ideas and tips are helpful! Let me know what you create!
