I saw this project on Pinterest about a year ago when I was looking for recipe holder ideas. I knew this would be great for recipe storage. I have tons of beautiful scrapbook paper that’s not being used. I thought this would be the perfect thing to show off some of my paper. It’s also useful too! Everyone has cereal boxes that they can save.
Here are the items you will need:
- one cereal box
- scissors
- Modge podge
- scrapbook paper
I first took a Sharpie and drew on the box where I wanted to cut. It ended up with this. |
Next I used duct tape to reinforce the sides so it looks like this. |
I then measured the front and the sides of the box so I would know what size to cut the paper. |
Here is the finished project. I used heavy duty magnet clips from Ikea to hang it on the fridge. |

This is a super smart idea to use a cereal box! Thanks for sharing at the Pinworthy Projects Party!
