I love finding things at Goodwill and turning them into pretty and useful things! Here is one of my earlier finds. I found this white wooden frame at Goodwill sometime ago and knew it would serve some purpose. I was thinking of some kind of display shelf. I have a huge collection of pretty scrapbook paper. Some of it’s too pretty to keep hidden in a scrapbook, or sitting on one of my shelves in my craft room.
I decided to pick out a pretty piece of paper and just lay it inside the frame. I couldn’t figure out a good way to attach it to the frame so I just placed it inside and it stayed!
The vase on top was a present from one of my preschool students back when I taught preschool. The paper flowers are flowers my daughter has made for me for Mother’s Day over the years. The little Precious Moments doll is actually something my husband gave me when we were dating many, many years ago! I’m still looking for the perfect picture to put in the frame.
Have you ever taken something from Goodwill or another thrift store and turned it into something else?

That is such Beautiful idea! I’ve never direction repurposed anything like that. I do love to thrift shop and occasionally buy something and repair or repaint, but what you’ve done is so inventive. Thanks for sharing it.
